- Step 1 - Consultation
- The first step in getting your website online is the consultation, which is free. We will discuss your company's needs in whatever way is most convenient for you, whether it's over the phone, through email communications or in person (if distance permits).
- Step 2 - Domain Registration
- If you don't already have a domain name registered, even if you don't choose to have us create your website, do this as soon as possible!
- Step 3 - Decide on Design
- If you choose to have us create your website, the next step is to decide what you want your site to look like, what features you want it to have and what content should be included.
- Step 4 - The Contract
- After Step 3 is completed, and a price is negotiated, we both will sign the contract. The contract will include the specific services that we have agreed to do for your company and the price you have agreed to pay for the services, along with an estimated completion time. One-third of the total price is due before we begin working on your site. The balance is due upon completion of the services as stated in the contract.
- Step 5 - Supply Information
- At this time, you will need to supply us with any logos or graphics you may have and the text for your site on disk or emailed to us. If you don't have graphics, logos and/or text on disk, additional scanning and/or typing charges may apply.
- Step 6 - Home Page Approval
- When we have completed your Home Page, it will be sent to you for approval. This is to ensure that you are satisfied with the design before we proceed any further. We can either post it to a password-protected directory on our site for you to view online, or email you a full-size screen shot (although it would be a very large file).
- Step 7 - Sub Page Approval
- If you choose, you can approve each sub page of your site before we proceed to the next.
- Step 8 - Delivery
- Once your site is completed, it will be delivered to you on disk or cdrom. If you have chosen any of our supplemental services, such as uploading to your web host, these will be completed at this time. Even if you choose to have us upload your site for you, you will still receive a copy for you to keep on file.
